Transparent High Strength TPEs

Our new Elastocon CLR (Clear) Series of non-blooming thermoplastic elastomers were developed for applications that require oil/plasticizer-free, non blooming high strength properties and a tactile surface finish. The new grades are FDA compliant and well suited for consumer goods and industrial aplications requiring U.V. stability. They can also be overmolded onto polypropylene.

The new Elastocon CLR grades are latex and phthalate-free in addition to non-blooming. They offer a great alternative to silicone and PVC and are therefore well sited for both medical products and children's toys. With their tactile fee, the new grades are perfect for pplications that might include protective feet and pads and bumpers for desk accessories and desktop and countertop electronics plus appliances and furniture. And, because of special high resilience properties, they can also be used as protective covers for consumer electronics too.

The new Elastocon CLR Series of TPEs provide the following benefits:

• Easy to process; no drying required (can be injection molded or extruded)
• Can be overmolded onto polypropylene (PP)

* Only CLR65 and CLR75 are oil free
